Foley Sound


Definition:

Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.

In the video above two men describe how they created the audio for Toy Story and many other famous animations and the importance of this technique they use. They also speak of the animation progress that happens alongside the audio.
